Explore the Sermon on the Mount and learn what it means to be a member of God's Kingdom.

Series Aims
  • To see how it is possible to enter God's Kingdom by trusting Jesus alone.
  • To see what living as a member of the Kingdom looks like in our daily lives now.
  • To understand the necessity of ongoing prayer in our struggle to remain faithful to Jesus.

Series Overview
This series explores Jesus' teaching on what it means to be one of his followers and a member of God's Kingdom. It shows how people become members by admitting their own 'spiritual poverty' and looking to Jesus for help. This utter dependence upon God also shows itself in the way they live. They try to live like Jesus - loving their enemies, being content and not materialistic. But this is impossible to achieve. They therefore need to be persistent in prayer, asking God to give them everything they need to live for Jesus. They do this so others will see their radically different lives and praise God.
